She ran a series of summer schools with In2Science for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds. GirlsIntoCoding.com is a Community Interest Company (CIC) that is dedicated to increasing girls' participation in Tech and Engineering by providing hand-on events and activities. When Rae started doing outreach, her motivation was to try to change perceptions amongst a specific underrepresented group, girls.
